IMPORTANT: Before you turn on TCP filtering, set up the filter list to allow access to the users who need it. The default filter list blocks all access to your server.

To turn TCP filtering on or off:

1	Open the Apple menu and choose AppleShare IP Admin, then choose TCP Filter Admin from the submenu.
2	Select or deselect the checkbox labeled Enable TCP Filtering.
3	Restart your computer.

If you add a filter after turning on TCP filtering, it does not affect any connections already established with the server.
